Amber won the toss as Captain and elected to field against a quality Whitchurch team. Whitchurch's disciplined batting and running between the wickets was very impressive.  The combination of this with the extras bowled saw them amass an impressive 304 runs. Bella, Georgia, and Freya all claimed a wicket. 

In reply, the Falkland girls faced a strong fielding team and found it hard to adjust their judgement when running between the wickets.  It was an excellent experience for the girls to be on the receiving end of pressure in the field.  All girls contributed with the bat; however, losing 10 wickets and bowling too many extras made the task too difficult.  Falkland were 81 runs short of Whitchurch’s total. Georgia was voted best bowler and Bella best batsman by the opposing team.
